A storm system over the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles early this morning will continue to move towards the east and away from the state. Locally heavy snow and strong gusty winds will continue across the far southeast plains this morning, with snow ending by afternoon. Travel will continue to be impacted over this area through the morning hours. Improving conditions are expected by this afternoon, with clearing skies and temperatures warming into the 30s and 40s over most locations. Gusty winds will continue into this afternoon, with the winds gradually subsiding from mid afternoon into the evening hours.
