Numerous to widespread showers and storms will develop over portions of the eastern Permian Basin and Lower Trans Pecos regions late this afternoon through tonight. Deep tropical moisture associated with the remnants of Hurricane Polo will bring the potential for very heavy rainfall and flash flooding over these locations through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches with localized higher amounts of 3+ inches will be possible.
