Northerly winds will be particularly gusty along the coast around Cape Mendocino and down the Mendocino County Coast. Some exposed coastal areas could see occasional gusts to 40 mph. North to northwesterly winds will develop for interior Mendocino and Lake counties by the middle to end of the week. The highest gusts will be for exposed areas of elevated terrain with some gusts approaching 35 to potentially 40 mph. Higher and exposed terrain through the region could be affected by gusty northerly winds through the end of the work week.
